I was recently commissioned to paint Willie Nelson in my colorful abstract style. He's large and in charge! Wild Willie is painted in acrylics on a 36" gallery wrapped canvas. He was finished with a satin varnish and he really pops!
Can you believe Willie celebrated his 87th birthday this past April?! I have to say I became of fan of Willie's back around 1980, when my dad was listening to him all the time. Of course Willie's music always reminds me of those days so I hold his music close to my heart.
