I've been listing more & more cement garden art in my shop!
I've listed some new hypertufa cement succulent planters, some garden spheres, cement Buddhas, cement skulls and other oddities for your outdoor garden.
Every piece is hand made with love, right here at my Pacific Northwest home.
I work with both Hypertufa and Portland cement. Hypertufa is great if you like a weathered look. It's pitted and tends to pit more over time. It contains Portland cement, peat moss and perlite. The organic materials break down over time and cause more pitting. Moss also likes to grow on it here in the Pacific Northwest! Hypertufa is lightweight and has a lot of character. It changes how it looks over time. It's cool!
Portland cement is what I use with most of my molds, like my Buddhas. It is smooth and much heavier than Hypertufa.
I have lots of new garden art this time of year so be sure to check my shop often as quantities can be limited.
