One Seattle band I always loved in the 90s (and still do) is The Melvins. They never quite achieved the same fame as some other bands of the era, but over the years they've always remained a favorite of mine. Frontman Buzz Osborne is such a character, I thought he'd be fun to paint. I did this piece very fast, in about an hour and a half. Although I could have spent more time on it I didn't want to overcomplicate it.
