I can finally say I have painted a cat. I've painted a few dogs at this point, but never a cat. I am super pleased with how it turned out. I did this particular cat portrait painting on a smaller piece than I normally do my dog portraits, but I decided I really like this size. The 11x14" rectangle appeals to me more than the 14x14" square pieces I have been making. At least it did for this particular portrait.
