I thought this painting of Jack Nicholson on wood would be perfect for the moment when he busts through the door with the axe. I wanted to make it look like he was busting through this wood piece.
As a fan of horror films as a kid, The Shining was one of my first favorites. Along with Carrie, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and American Werewolf in London.
